PACO's LC series of end-suction, close coupled centrifugal pumps is the industry superior choice for performance, durability and most of all quality. Size does matter... there are 32 pump sizes to choose from to find the perfect fit for your application. Have a problem sizing up your pump? Give us a call. That is what we are here for.

A double volute design is a distinct advantage of LC pumps compared to competitors standard volute designs. PACO's double volute design utilizes not one but two cutwaters located at 180 degrees. This alows for a division ofe flow into two similar regions of the volute. Long story short, the net radial force is maintained at a very low level throughout the operating range of the pump. Shaft deflection, as a result, is kept to a minimum.

    Key Features & Benefits

    • Hydraulic double volute design reduces radial loads, internal recirculation and turbulence, resulting in a longer pump life span and a higher operation efficiency.
    • Axially split design allows for quick removal of the top casing and access to pump components (bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal) without disturbing the motor or pipe work, saving time and money.
    • Standard bronze wear rings protect pump from erosion and permit simple maintenance of proper running clearances.
    • Horizontal, space saving design eliminates need for distance around pump for maintenance access.
    • Highly customizable construction including choices of case material with numerous impeller and shaft seal options.
    • Integrally cast suction baffles reduce suction recirculation loss and ensure even flow distribution and quiet, vibration-free operation. Suction chamber inlet configuration also increases hydraulic efficiency and lowers net positive suction head requirements.
    • Independent bearing housing design allows access to the pump components without removing the top half of the casing.
    • Extended pump range up to 20,000 gallons-per-minute to serve all your high flow applications.
    • Francis Vane Impeller design with extended vanes and enlarged eye increases efficiency and reduces vibration and noise.
    • NSF/50 certifications (available upon request).

PACO's KP single stage, split case horizontal pump is a volute pump between bearing centrifugal. Easy removal of the casing top allows for qucik and painless access to the pump parts. This is due to the axially split design. This is a huge benefit for anyone who has to access pump components such as bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal. Save time and money without having to disrupt the motor or piping. Maintenence is a breeze thanks to the bearing housing being independent, as a result, top casing does not have to be removed. The radial load on the pump shaft has been reduced due to the volute being a double design not to meniton being quiet while operational without all the vibration. This allows longer optimal performance and reducced cost on needing replacement parts.
