FTI's MSDB multistage pumps are designed around the DB11 / DB15 series. Finnish Thompson's MSDB2 pump has two impellers while the MSDB3 has three impellers.

Specifically desinged to produce higher head with lower flow thanks to each stage producing the additional head. This allows the use of smaller less expensive pumps perfect for high head and low flow pumping applications.

Finish Thompson (FTI) Sealless / Sealed / Vertical Accessories Include: VFD (Variable Frequency Drives - Variable frequency drives, or VFD, are used to control the speed of a 3-phase motor by changing the frequency. Changing the speed of the motor changes the flow rate and discharge head of the pump to better meet the application performance requirements.
