PACO LC Series pumps are close coupled centrifugal pump in a compact design for optimized space savings. The Close Coupled design features a short shaft for minimum overhang and minimum shaft deflection.

A double volute design is a distinct advantage of LC pumps compared to competitors standard volute designs. PACO's double volute design utilizes not one but two cutwaters located at 180 degrees. This alows for a division ofe flow into two similar regions of the volute. Long story short, the net radial force is maintained at a very low level throughout the operating range of the pump. Shaft deflection, as a result, is kept to a minimum.
