The QUANTM Hygienic 3A series is an electric double diaphragm pump designed to provide a lighter, more compact, and energy-efficient solution for 3A-certified dairy and food facilities. Constructed with 316 Stainless Steel and a 32 Ra micro-inch finish, it ensures full compliance with strict sanitation standards while consuming up to 80% less energy than air-operated pumps. By delivering a smooth, steady flow and typically paying for itself in under a year, it is the ideal upgrade for modern dairy processing.
Performance & Reliability
Powered by Xtreme Torque (XT) motor technology, this series delivers 8X more torque at low speeds compared to standard electric pumps. Its unique stall-under-pressure design eliminates the need for expensive pressure sensors and protects the pump from failure during line blockages or valve closures. The sealless, self-priming architecture allows the unit to run dry safely, maximizing uptime and reducing mechanical wear.
Materials & Construction
Specifically engineered for hygiene, the 3A series features overmolded diaphragm plates with PTFE on the fluid side and EPDM on the air side to eliminate crevices where bacteria can harbor. All wetted materials meet FDA and 3A standards. The entire pump is IP66 wash-down rated, providing a durable solution for facilities requiring rigorous daily cleaning cycles and Clean-In-Place (CIP) capabilities.
Motor & Controls
Integrated smart controls allow operators to manually manage flow and pressure via a simple dial, much like the AODD pumps they are used to. For automated production, a standard I/O port enables remote management and hands-free control via a plant PLC.
