Husky 515 Air‑Operated Diaphragm Pump
Overview
The Husky 515 is a mid‑capacity 1/2 inch air‑operated double diaphragm pump designed for reliable transfer of chemicals, coatings, solvents, and process fluids. Its bolt‑through fluid cover design improves sealing integrity and long‑term durability, while the stall‑free, low‑pulsation air valve delivers smooth, consistent changeover. The 515 fits well into OEM skids, dosing systems, and compact industrial installations where quiet operation and flexible porting are important.
Performance
The 515 delivers up to 15 gpm (56.7 lpm) at a maximum working pressure of 100 psi. It can operate on air pressures as low as 20 psi, making it suitable for low‑pressure plant air systems and portable setups. The pump maintains strong suction lift and stable cycling thanks to its efficient check‑valve geometry and balanced air‑valve design.
Connections
The 515 supports both 1/2‑inch and 3/4‑inch connection sizes in NPT(F) or BSPT(F) thread forms, as specified in the technical data. This allows the pump to integrate into a wide range of existing plumbing configurations without requiring specialized adapters or manifold changes.
Materials & Wetted Options

Air System & Control
The internal air valve is designed for low pulsation and rapid shift, reducing pressure spikes and improving downstream stability. It is fully serviceable from the exterior and requires no lubrication. The pump supports remote control through external solenoid valves for automated or PLC‑driven systems. Proper air filtration and unrestricted exhaust are recommended for consistent cycling.
Installation & Mounting
The 515 supports multiple mounting orientations and can be used in stand‑mount, pail‑mount, wall‑mount, and transfer applications. Manifolds can be re‑oriented to suit the installation layout.
