Engineered for Corrosion Resistance
SKX Series pumps are constructed from 316 stainless steel for all major wetted components, including the motor housing, volute, and suction cover. This construction provides superior resistance to corrosion compared to traditional cast iron pumps and ensures long service life in aggressive environments.
Advanced Shredding System
The SKX Series features a wear-resistant shredding system designed to tear, break, and reduce solids prior to discharge. A tungsten carbide-tipped impeller works with hardened cutting components to process debris and minimize clogging.
This allows the pumps to handle solids ranging from approximately 1.6 inches to 3.5 inches, depending on model size.
