Construction and Operational Design

KZNRF pumps are constructed using Class 30 ductile iron, with a hardened volute engineered for severe abrasion resistance.

Critical wear components—including the impeller, agitator, and wear plate—are manufactured from high chrome iron to withstand aggressive slurry conditions.

The semi-open impeller design allows efficient passage of solids while reducing clogging in high-density slurry applications.
