Series Operation Increases Productivity The in-line suction and discharge of the Prosser Standard-Line pumps permits pumps to be connected in series providing double the discharge pressure. Series operation enables you to use the same pumps on different jobs with varying head requirements or with smaller diameter well casings. While a single pump may be sufficient for one job, simply connecting pumps in a series permits two small pumps to do the work of one large pump.
