MDM Magnetic Drive Chemical Process Pumps
Iwaki’s MDM magnetic drive chemical process pumps are engineered to tackle the most challenging chemical handling applications. With two construction materials and versatile mounting configurations, MDM pumps can manage a wide range of aggressive chemical and high-purity applications. Their unique non-contact system design allows them to withstand dry running, unlike conventional magnetic drive pumps made of fluororesin. MDM pumps are perfect for transferring chemicals such as bleach and sulfuric acid.
Maximum Capacity: Up to 350 Gallons Per Minute (GPM)
Our dry run (carbon/ceramic) design ensures that unexpected dry running won’t damage the pump or interrupt the process. With an expanded temperature range (up to 300°F) and increased solids handling capabilities (up to 10%), our pumps provide solutions for challenging applications.
The MDM pumps, available in two materials of construction and with convenient mounting configurations, can handle many aggressive chemical and high-purity applications. Installation and maintenance are simplified with our compact, close-coupled design.
Operating costs are reduced thanks to the simple, modular construction and individually replaceable parts. Small, lightweight, and perfectly concentric magnet capsules optimize pump efficiency, while high-strength rare earth magnets are fully encapsulated within fluororesin moldings.
The MDM’s back pull-out design allows for inspection while keeping the line pressurized, and its modular design ensures low operating costs over the pump’s lifespan by making regular maintenance and periodic inspections easy.
