The QUANTM Hygienic Food Grade (FG) series is a 316 Stainless Steel electric double diaphragm pump designed to help FDA-approved facilities reduce energy costs and meet sustainability goals. Utilizing the powerful XT motor and drive, it delivers 8X more torque at low speeds and is up to 80% more efficient than air-operated models. With its smooth, steady flow and self-priming, sealless design, it is a perfect upgrade for in-process and filling applications.
Performance & Reliability
Designed to pay for itself in under 12 months, the FG series handles abrasives, solids, and shear-sensitive materials with ease. It features a unique stall-under-pressure capability, eliminating the need for complex pressure sensors and preventing pump failure during line blockages. The sealless architecture allows the pump to run dry indefinitely, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and contamination risks.
Materials & Construction
Constructed with a 125 Ra surface finish, the FG series includes overmolded diaphragm plates with PTFE on the fluid side and EPDM on the air side to eliminate bacterial crevices. The 316 Stainless Steel wetted sections and FDA-compliant elastomers ensure full regulatory compliance. The entire pump is IP66 wash-down rated, making it suitable for rigorous cleaning protocols in food processing, brewery, and wine transfer applications.
Controls & Automation
Operation is simplified through an integrated control dial that functions like a standard AODD pump. For facility-wide automation, a built-in I/O port enables remote management via a plant PLC. The intelligent auto-prime feature automatically restarts the priming cycle if fluid is lost, ensuring consistent throughput without manual intervention.
Installation & Serviceability
The QUANTM FG series fits seamlessly into existing AODD footprints, offering a drop-in solution that supports 120V, 240V, and 480V plug-and-play installation. Its design features fewer moving parts than traditional pumps, reducing repair time and total cost of ownership. Tri-clamp fluid connections provide a quick-knockdown design for fast maintenance and inspection.
