The KHD/KHH Series provides powerful dewatering performance where both high flow and high head are required. The availability of both single-stage and dual-stage designs allows users to match pump performance to specific system demands.

Construction and Operational Design

KHD/KHH pumps are constructed with a combination of cast iron, ductile iron, and high-chrome iron components. The impeller is manufactured from hi-chrome material for abrasion resistance, while the wear plate and volute are constructed from ductile iron for strength and durability.

The pumps feature a double mechanical seal system. The lower seal uses silicon carbide faces for handling abrasive fluids, while the upper seal utilizes carbon/ceramic materials. The seal chamber is oil-lubricated to improve cooling and extend seal life.

Each unit is powered by a high-speed 2-pole motor operating at approximately 3450 RPM. Class F insulation ensures reliable motor operation under demanding conditions, while embedded thermal sensors protect against overheating.
